hi, i’m Jebrahn. thanks for checking out my little picture show! i’m a non-commercial photographer based in the Nichewana River watershed, in the Cascade mountain range; in and around Portland, Oregon. i’m passionate about indigenous ways of knowing, anthropocene trauma, lived experience, being female, triple entendres, and art as the answer to much (if not all) of what ails our human conditions. the aim of my shots scouts moreso towards natural occurances than for contrived design- although i do love design…

photographically, i’m on the lookout for in a wide range of subject and concept material, unsually from an angle of eye-training, luck, and some kind of meditation- the spells of the sensuous; i prefer not to transcend what is earthy about craft.

my background is in organic gardening, american poverty, meadows my heart paved over with asphalt, the darkness on the edge of town, and the diaspora of multicultural angels who haunt america — all of which/whom i love to hide and seek in my photographs- and yours <3
